Telling a story can be difficult. That's why I learned Editing. Editing, in it's raw form is an art form. Trying to figure out how best to tell the story with a series of images can mean the difference between an engaged audience and one that simple clicks through to the next distraction in front of them. I discovered, as many have, that sometimes a single frame will change the tone of the shot. Below are just a few examples of that.
Markisha's Making It Season 2 submission
I was tasked to make a video for Markisha for her submission to Making It season 2. We wanted to express her breadth of experience and understanding of different types of crafts and industries. Cross your fingers to help her get in!
You might recognize this from elsewhere on my website. This is a project where I not only animated the VFX and Motion Graphics, but I also Edited, Conformed and Colored the whole thing. It was a big task to be the end all person for the whole video, but in the end, the company got a high-quality video at a fraction of the cost.
Nielsen digital journey
Nielsen came to me with an idea and a tiny budget. In the end I produced this video, edited and did all the VFX and Motion Graphics. They were very happy with it considering the budget.
Who is junior baby hatter?
This fast turn around edit explores the guts of the company in a compelling way. We tried to show the sincerity of people behind Junior Baby Hatter by sprinkling in bits of fun. I produced, filmed, edited, conformed, animated and colored the whole thing in about 3 days.
